Looks like the props on each wing are counter-rotating. Does anyone know whether this is correct?

Yes, the props are counter-rotating on each wing. This was one of the major design features of the A-400 and also one of the most problematic. The engines all rotate in the same direction, however there are RH and LH gear boxes are mated to the engines to result in the desired rotation direction. There have been various on-going problems with these gear boxes.
