People list the reg number of this aircraft in many different ways (such as SAM28000, N28000, etc.); however, the correct reg is 82-8000. The term "SAM" means "Special Air Mission" which is not related to the aircraft's reg number; it is the callsign this aircraft uses when the POTUS or VPOTUS are not aboard. As for the "N" prefix, the letter "N" is never used as part of the reg number of United States military aircraft.
This aircraft is a VC-25A; ,a special variant of a B742.
Since the FA Photo Tags section will not permit the above info to be entered correctly, I left the "TAIL #" and "AIRCRAFT TYPE" sections empty.

Howdy, guys. You should all have received a picture of Marine One (Sikorsky VH-60N Whitehawk with the POTUS aboard), flying directly above me, in your email. I emailed it to each of you last night.
To Ryan J. at FA >> Is it OK if I send a pic of it to your FA email addy?

One question..... What is the purpose of the shiny stripe running under the 'chin' of the VC25, decoration or a special purpose?
Dave Sheehy
Beautiful Gary! WOW! I knew this was coming and I knew it was gonna be good, and it is better than good. 5X5*. Roy- the entire belly is polished aluminum, what you are seeing is the composite belly fairing installed over the skin.

Nice shot, Gary!
