Last flown by the NevANG "High Rollers" (Reno, NV), this Convair C-131D Samaritan, the military variant of a Convair 240, is now on display at the Air Museum on Travis AFB. Prior to being flown by the Nevada Air Guard, this one had been "stationed' at Travis (KSUU).

I always enjoy finding museum static displays that are on the ground. Oh, I certainly like seeing ANY aircraft statics, even if they ARE on sticks, but the ones that are on the ground make it possible to get up close for detailed looks at them.
