It really freaked out those that did not have much knowledge of the V-22 and really freaked the ones out that knew nothing about Aviation, the kids though , they thought it was cool.
When they had the old terminal or it's parking lot I would see folks up there watching.After i would finish what i was doing on the ramp i would try to talk to the kids a little because when i was little no one would ,but that was in the 60's. Now i'm 70 and have had the bug since day one.
All i would love to know is after a lifetime of Love for Aviation ,did i help a young Boy or Girl get this passion for aviation ???
Then i would feel i did something right .
