BOEING 747SP (N747NA) - Probably a "once only" capture of the "daily whale flight arrival" into Christchurch with such a gorgeous aircraft waiting in the background!br /On 20 July, SOFIA (N747NA), our part time resident B74S, was scheduled to depart and fly back to Palmdale AFB via Hawaii, but was a little early at the holding point, so had to give way to the landing A380. And I was ready up the ladder to see over the fence and capture the beaut "8 engine meet".br /I understand that Christchurch is the smallest international airport to serve the A380, and we get one daily. David, that is a very nice catch, especially with the SOFIA bird in the background! Thanks!
