ZK-NME — - GAF Nomad NME resting in the sun at Tekapo Airfield, one fine spring morning in September 2011. Whilst travelling south to Twizel and further beyond, I always make a point of stopping here at New Zealand highest registered airfield at Tekapo (2496ft/760m AMSL) to say hello, sniff the burnt turbine exhaust if there's some floating around, and admire the superb views of the Southern Alps, if its clear.
