Boeing 737-200 — - KSJC - early 1990s view at San Jose on a mid day to about 2pm ugly winter photo. This is the view when the new Terminal A opened early 1990s( far right and out of view) and the adjoining parking structure was 5 stories high. This view here, from the south end of the garage and the old Terminal C and Tower visible. My son and I were the 1st paying jet photogs up here...we even sneaked up from the 4th floor as the stairwell was open one day! But I didn't want to jinx anything so we just looked around and left until opening day!. Later SJC decided to build a US Customs building and put if about where the AA 737-300 is, and towards the right in the view. Then The new Tower was built, the one shown here was disassembled, and later new Terminal C was built mid 2005-2006 forever ruining this view. I spent many years up here videotaping and photos. It was a great vantage point. Early AM summers was best and 630am Freighter arrivals were fun to watch from here.

Man, I love viewing your old pics. Not only the earlier models of paxliners (like the 732 seen here) that are up front in the shots, but often there are a/c in the background that are equally interesting. In this one, there's a ASA 727 and a Sierra Pacific 732 and, waaaay back, a TWA. These ***** star memory jogs are great, Tom.

Not to mention what looks like yet another 732 about to land ... as they say in the classics, "The good ol' days" ...
