Fabulous Rotol four bladed props. Note the witness mark on the white section of the prop spinner. Checking during the preflight walkaround that this mark aligned with the leading edge of the propeller blade was essential to ensure that no overtemp occurred, resulting in a melted turbine, when starting the Dart.

beautiful picture, is this is a test aircraft? Wanted to check it out at HEF today but it had left for St. Johns this morning and on to Azores. It did the same in June so hope/guess it is not a delivery flight to Africa or so

Anton1 - take a close look at this aircraft and its FAA registration, which shows the owner to be Battele Pacific NW Laboratories. It is used in research as conducted for the DOE's Office of Science. I highly doubt it is taking flight to be "delivered" anywhere... much less to Africa or so!
